The New Faculty Academic Orientation
The two-day Academic Orientation serves several purposes related to promoting faculty success. It provides new faculty members with information about policies and procedures that will directly impact their work in and beyond the classroom, offers participants opportunities to connect with new colleagues and campus leaders, and presents attendees with a preview of the many kinds of professional development resources and opportunities available to them throughout the year. The event takes place during the week before the fall semester begins in the FAIRWINDS Alumni Center and Classroom 1 buildings on the Orlando Campus and includes complimentary breakfast and lunch events on both days. For information relating to an upcoming academic orientation, please visit https://dtl.ucf.edu/faculty/orientation/. See our page for new teachers for information and resources to help prepare for teaching at UCF.
