University Regulations, available at http://regulations.ucf.edu/, and University Policies, available at http://policies.ucf.edu/, list the regulations and policies for all employees and students at the university. Topics include the Grading Policy, Course Syllabi, Final Exams, and the Make-Up Policy, among many others.

In addition to local UCF policies and regulations, there are a few laws in the State of Florida you should know about:
- Sunshine Law (Chapter 286 of FL Statutes). In this law, many members of society can request a Public Records disclosure. Emails are subject to this law.
- HB233 (2021). This law authorizes a student to record video or audio of class lectures for personal educational use, in connection with a complaint to the public institution of higher education where the recording was made, or as evidence in, or in preparation for, a criminal or civil proceeding.
